Hi, I’m Willy!
I didn’t take the traditional path—no college, no fancy degrees. Instead, I learned by doing, listening to others, and being willing to ask for help when I needed it. That mindset changed everything. It allowed me to build something I’m incredibly proud of, starting with nothing but ambition and a vision. I built Willy’s Trucking from the ground up, growing it to over 100 employees and eventually selling it at its peak.
These days, I’ve shifted gears. I’m an investor—both in businesses and the stock market—but my real passion is sharing what I’ve learned along the way. From figuring out what works (and what doesn’t), to understanding how to grow something meaningful, I’ve accumulated insights that I know can help other entrepreneurs and business owners succeed.
At the heart of it, I’m on a mission to empower others. Personal growth and development have always been at the center of my success, and I love helping people unlock their potential and build something amazing for themselves.
Of course, none of this would be possible without my family. My wife Maria and our five kids have been my greatest support system, and they’ve shaped me more than anything else. I believe the same values that guide my family—hard work, love, and unwavering support—are just as vital in business.

Hector Alvarado

Hector Alvarado is a distinguished business leader with over 27 years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, and organizational transformation. Renowned for his ability to diagnose and resolve complex systems and workplace challenges, Hector has held high-impact roles, including Vice President of Operations, Continuous Improvement Master Trainer, and Lean Black Belt and EOS implementor.
A logistics and transportation expert, Hector has driven significant improvements in supply chain efficiency and fleet operations across multiple industries. Among his career highlights is the remarkable turnaround of Willy’s Trucking, which he transformed from losing $1.3 million per year in 2018 to a successful sale for well over $25 million in 2021. Currently, he serves as VP of Operations for the largest NGL and Butane hauler in Western Canada, where he oversees operational excellence and strategic growth initiatives.
Hector’s entrepreneurial portfolio includes three thriving businesses under Family Legacy Industries: La Neveria Zaragoza Centro, Energize Supplements, and Surf City Lavanderia. He also manages a significant real estate investment portfolio, showcasing his expertise in identifying opportunities and building wealth through strategic investments.
Additionally, Hector has extensive experience working with home-based service businesses, helping them optimize operations, scale effectively, and achieve sustainable growth. As the founder of Optimize Business Solutions, he provides consulting services to empower businesses with tailored strategies for operational efficiency and long-term success.
Looking ahead, Hector plans to transition to grow his private equity group in 2026, continuing his legacy of delivering exceptional results, empowering businesses, and expanding his impact across industries.
