The Compass Program pairs your leadership team with an OBS Mentor who has operated a business, not just studied one. Together you install the seven gears that let your company run without depending on you for every decision.
Thirty minutes. No pitch deck.
Most firms will help you build a vision, draw an org chart and pick your metrics. Then they hand it over. The gap between a good plan and a business that actually runs differently is where most of them leave.
Your OBS Mentor stays. They learn your business, your people and your numbers. They sit with your leadership team while the work gets done, ask the question nobody in the room wants to ask, and make sure last month’s commitments actually happened.
A mentor who knows your business, not a rotating account manager
Working sessions where the work gets done, not just discussed
Honest feedback when a leader isn’t stepping up
Accountability between sessions, so momentum doesn’t die
Someone to call when the quarter goes sideways
Some teams want their mentor in the room often, working through each gear session by session. Others move faster on their own and want fewer sessions with more room to run between them.
Both paths cover the full Compass. The difference is how much one to one mentorship your team wants along the way, and that’s something we size together on the first call rather than guessing at from a website. Additional sessions can be added at any point.
Sessions with your OBS Mentor, working directly with your leadership team on the gear you’re installing. The number of sessions is set when your engagement is scoped.
Full access to the OBS course library. Every gear taught module by module, with worksheets and templates your team can use immediately. Includes access to the OBS Inner Circle, our weekly live call with other owners, Thursdays 5:00 to 6:00 PM MT.
Licensed separately from the program. Where your scorecard, 90 Day Goals, Responsibility Blueprint, issues list and weekly meeting agenda live between sessions, visible to your whole leadership team. Built for the seven gears, so the software and the framework are the same shape.
We learn your business, you learn our process. No pitch deck. We'll tell you straight whether the Compass is a fit.
Leadership team defined, pain points and priorities on the table, mentor assigned, logins issued.
Responsibility Blueprint, scorecard, and your first weekly meeting, built with your mentor in the room.
Gear by gear, at the pace your team can absorb, with your mentor alongside.
The rhythms hold without us in the room. That's the point.

Your leadership team. The Compass installs role clarity, ownership and operating rhythms across the team. Working only with the owner is how businesses stay owner dependent.
Your leadership team should expect a weekly meeting plus the implementation work between sessions. The weekly rhythm is the part that changes the business, and teams who skip it don’t get results.
Some resistance is normal, and it usually surfaces where accountability has been unclear for a long time. Your mentor has seen it before. What matters more is whether you as the owner are genuinely willing to let leaders own their areas.
The Compass Tool is licensed separately and we strongly recommend it. Your scorecard, goals and meetings need to live somewhere your whole team can see, and spreadsheets go stale by Wednesday.
The operating rhythms should be running on their own. Many clients stay connected through the Inner Circle or add mentorship sessions as they need them.
We’re based in Alberta and work with clients across North America. Sessions run remotely, with in person work where it makes sense.
A 30 minute discovery call. We’ll ask about your business and tell you honestly whether the Compass would help.
Thirty minutes with our team. We’ll ask about your business, tell you straight whether the Compass would help, and you’ll leave with something useful either way.
